It was after graduating from Penn State that Keric relocated to New York City, where he attended Columbia University and studied law. After receiving his diploma, he went immediately into work with politics. The field was perfect the the head-strong, fast-tongued young man but after spending five years in the field he knew it wasn't a place he wanted to be. He was dirty in the game (although very talented at it and fantastic at lobbying votes) but he knew it wasn't a way for him to spend his life. From there he spent a little bit of time dabbling in a lot of different legal efforts (even pro-bono) but he ultimately found his niche in divorce law. Crafty at his art (really just a game of words and tactic in his opinion) he was made partner at his firm not long ago, aside former classmate and ex-girlfriend Kaci Porte.
It was eight years ago that a lot changed for Keric Sheltae. His view on the world, on himself, on life changed completely. He found out his on/off girlfriend of sometime, Julie Saxe, was pregnant with their first child. David was born June 27, 2003 but it wasn't until he was two years old that Julie and Keric were married. Six years later, they're happily married and living on an estate in Westchester, NY. With a two year old daughter, Olivia, and another boy on the way the pair have their hands full.. especially with both supporting blossoming careers in each of their respective fields. Keric hasn't changed too much from the easy going jokester (verging on alcoholic) that he was in college, but he's definitely a much different man. He's a father and a husband.. two things he never thought he'd end up happily as.
